Condition: vg. Limited edition. Elephant folio. 1/1000. 17 pages of text with 10 pages of original full-page lithographs. Illustrated paper-covered boards with red vellum strips along spine as issued. Minor chipping and closed tears on spine. Some scuffing and slight staining to boards. Small stain near bottom edge on first few pages not affecting text or lithos. 10 stunning original lithographs in duotone by Josephe Verheyen. Printed on handmade paper. Translated into German by Heinrich Conrad. Very good condition. Fine erotic art. Rare.

Élégante publication ornée de 10 grandes lithographies libres tirées en sanguine. L'illustration est influencée à la fois par le cubisme et par le symbolisme. Tirage annoncé à 1 000 exemplaires, mais ce recueil paraît fort rare. Un seul exemplaire au fichier des grandes bibliothèques mondiales, à Zurich (Métacatalogue KVK).
