Paperback small quarto, very good condition, original card cover, black & white text-photos, maps, adverts (some full-page), double-column text, concealed staples (little rusted), covers & pages minimally creased (top corner front cover & along spine creased, small edge tears), spine ends worn, some edgewear, autographs (written… names). 102 pp. A well-illustrated local history of this inner western municipality of Sydney. Many interesting period photos and adverts. Mostly about council activities, but also including churches, schools, public institutions, friendly societies, soldiers war memorial, the captured German gun, and the Jubliee celebrations. The first page is a presentation page (no person mentioned), containing autographs of Chas M. Reeves (Town Clerk) and W. A. Lambert (Mayor).
