Complete with 12 full-page color illustrations by Arthur Rackham, including frontispiece. Lacking dust jacket. Oliver Goldsmith's (1728-1774) The Vicar of Wakefield was widely recognized due to its popularity amongst Victorians. It has since been referenced in other famous novels, including Austen's Emma, Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities, and Alcott's Little Women.
