Brown cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vo. The volume has the bookplate of John Maurice Hawkins on the fron…t paste down, else is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original glossy dust wrapper, a little bumped at edges with a heavier bump along the front upper edge, very slightly sunned over spine. John Hawkins (1939-2020) was a well-known local historian with a strong interest in military history, a founding member of the Bognor Regis Local History Society and at one time curator of its museum.
