Letter dated 1944 but the manuscript page is from 1930. The letter is to the same person that the manuscript is dedicated to. It is a thank you letter to a friend. Victor MacClure (1887-1963) He specialized in detective novels and contemporary thrillers and also published as Peter Craig. He was the creator of Chief-Inspector-Detective Archibald Burford, who has intelligence, money, and a talented scalp. His only sf novel, The Ark of the Covenant: A Romance of the Air and of science fiction published in 1924. Various sizes. Condition is generally good. Light folding creases. Age toning.
