Add to basketPaperback. Condition: Good. My First Two Thousand Years (1963) by George Sylvester Viereck and Paul Eldridge ? Crest Books From Crappy Old Books ? proudly serving paperbacks with more creases than credibility. Part historical romp, part philosophical fever dream, My First Two Thousand Years follows Cartaphilus?the Wandering Jew?through the rise and ruin of empires, religions, and a few morally questionable bedroom encounters. First penned in the 1920s and still audacious in 1963 when Crest reprinted it, this oddball epic blends theology, erotica, satire, and historical fiction in a way that probably shouldn?t work?but somehow does. This copy has seen a few centuries of its own: yellowed pages, a slightly unhinged spine, and cover art that screams "pulp apocalypse." But hey, immortality was never meant to be tidy. Crappy Old Books ? Unearthing the disreputable, the damaged, and the deliciously unreadable. Has a paint drop on the cover.
