Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. TEXT BLOCK LOOSE FROM BINDING. This is a very heavy book and the text block has torn loose from the covers. It appears that this has happened a couple of times as there are replacement endpapers involved. Needs to be rebound correctly. Heavy bump and some damage to the upper back corner area of the text block. About the last quarter of the book. Otherwise the text is in very good condition. The covers are in good condition with a little wear, rubbing, a small hole along the front spne edge and a short tear and worn spot at the top edge along the front spine gutter. This is a limited first edition of 1000 copies. Black and white photographs throughout. A few color photos at the front. Map endpapers. 880 pages including index. Very heavy book.
