Add to basketHardcover w/ Jacket. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. This 5.5 x 7.75 inch, 307 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is the stated first edition of this title with the ?1934? date on the title page and the statement ?First Edition? on the copyright page. This copy is in at least near fine condition with virtually no wear or damage showing to the bright-orange cloth covers, with a black image of the book?s heroine on the front panel, and black-and-orange titling on the spine. The corners show just the slightest touch of wear but overall the covers are in near fine condition. The interior shows a smallish pocket envelope attached to the front paste-down and a small stamp noting ?Smith?s rental library 5699 College Avenue, Oakland? that is right above the words ?Chapter One? at the beginning of the book. Beyond that there is no further indication of stamps and the text pages are in all but fine condition. The dust wrapper does show heavy wear with extensive edge creasing, tears, a few missing pieces ,and then extensive damage to the spine extremities with tears and missing pieces at the top and bottom. The price of $2.00 is unclipped on the front flap. The storyline here is built around Cymbaline who ?was young, she had hair the shade of sun-fire, and she was queen of the Calico Shroud, the most famous gambling saloon in the Sacramento Valley.? 307 pages.
