Adapted from Lewis Carroll's original "Alice in Wonderland,'' this is a delightful interactive edition with an abridged tale for young readers that includes 6 pop-up scenes & 30 press-out pieces (1 missing!) that can be pressed out & positioned around in an exciting fold-down board game! Cover illustrations are the originals created by Sir John Tenniel, colored here by Diz Wallis. Internal illustrations by Alex Vining. A FIRST EDITION from 2000, this oblong quarto (9.75" x 13") has brightly decorated paper over boards, tied together with a creamy silk ribbon on fore edge side. Condition is VG+: aside from the 1 missing piece, BOTH ends of the spine have been heavily bumped, creating short horizontal tears & mild creasing (please see photos!).
