A letter confirming her ability to perform at Lord Roberts Workshops Fund. Violet Vanbrugh 1867-1942, born Violet Augusta Mary Barnes, was an English actress with a career that spanned more than 50 years. Despite her many successes, her career was overshadowed by that of her more famous sister, Dame Irene Vanbrugh. Major-General Herbert Francis Eaton, 3rd Baron Cheylesmore, 1848-1925 was a British Army officer, sportsman, and peer. He was Chairman of London County Council, chairman of the National Rifle Association and presided over courts martial during the First World War. Size is 180mm x 115mm. Condition is good.
