Fleischmann, München // Augsburg 1825-1911 München. Er war ein deutscher Tier- und Landschaftsmaler sowie Zeichner und Illustrator. Studium ab 1842 an der Königlichen Akademie der Künste in München. Zuerst wurde er von dem Schlachten- und Genremaler Peter von Hess, dann von dem Landschaftsmaler Adolf Heinrich Lier beeinflusst. Er spezialisierte sich auf die Pferdemalerei und malte vor allem für die Fürsten Thurn und Taxis und Wallerstein. Später widmete er sich der Jagdmalerei. Auch arbeitete er als Illustrator für den Münchener Bilderbogen. Ausstellung seiner Werke auf den Kunstausstellungen seit 1848 in Wien und seit 1854 in München. Ludwig Gustav Voltz war Mitglied im Münchner Kunstverein. -Das Blatt nachgedunkelt, leicht fleckig und mit kleinen Randläsuren, unter grünem PP. In addition to nine (of ten !) coloured horse portraits of the most famous Arabian mares and stallions bred in Wuerttemberg (Amourath, Zafir [original Arabian stallion], Koheil, Kereja, Sovereign, Emperor, Milo, Bellfoundre, Ardana, Volusia & Serenade), five tinted plates show the Marbach stud farm, the remount in Leonberg, the cold market in Ellwangen, the mare inspection in Rottweil, and the horse exhibition in Waldsee.
