[Royal Institute of the Navy at Willemsoord and His Majesty's Ship Kortenaer], lithograph after the design of Gerard Voorduin, printed by Dirk van Lokhorst, published in 1860 by De Industrie in Utrecht. Coloured by a hand later. Size: 33,7 x 43,8 cm. As a watercolourist and lithographer Gerard Voorduin (1830-1910) often made beautiful seascapes with ships. Here we see from the quay of the Willemsoord, marine harbour in Den Helder onto the moored ship Kortenaer. In the fore- and background next to the ship several midshipmen. Price: Euro 650,-.
