Daniel Ouellette is an American artist, surrealist, set designer, filmmaker and musician. His artwork is mostly of the fantastic grotesque and hard tension of eroticism. His work is strongly themed in surrealism and mostly done in pencil. Influence include Escger, Dali, Moebius and H.R. Giger. Ouellette has had numerous art gallery shows and published works. He has directed numerous music videos and has been production designer for many films including the cult classic Frankenhooker and Chasing Sleep starring Jeff Daniels. 14.5 x 12 inches prints. 15.25 x 12.5 inches slipcase.

This folio-sized suite of 14 pencil drawings (in reproduction), loosely inserted in a black paper-covered box with tissue paper lining introduces Daniel Ouellette, an artist whose pencil drawings of nudes are surrealistic and grotesque. They were exhibited at the Alexander Gallery at 980 Madison Avenue in New York City from October 31 to November 25, 1995. The drawings are reproduced on very heavy stock in black & white are bordered in black. Condition: although it lacks its original ribbon which encircled it, the plates and box are in as-new condition.
