This book investigates the neurological and psychological functions of monstrous human beings, defining monstrosity in terms of grave developmental defects. Using two rare case studies, the author delves into topics such as cerebral palsy and life without a brain. Questions of life, death, consciousness, and the human condition are raised in this exploration of medical anomalies and their philosophical implications. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Couverture rigide. Condition: Bon.
