Hardcover. First Edition in the United States. 11 x 13.5in. xx. 81 plates. Institutionally bound in three quarters archival buckram over the original publisher's cloth with gilt titling. VERY GOOD. An ex-institutional library copy but minimally so showing a label remnant at the base of the spine, a bookplate, and two small stamps at the title page as the only indications, other than typical shelf rubbing of the boards and a former owner name of the period at the title page, the binding remains strong and tight, the plates are clean and exceptionally unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
