This fascinating and comprehensive guide delves into the history, causes, and treatments of hydrophobia, also known as rabies, a deadly disease affecting both humans and animals. It meticulously examines the distinction between symptomatic and true hydrophobia, highlighting the differences in their origins, progression, and treatment approaches. The author explores the possibility of spontaneous rabies in humans, examining notable cases and discussing the potential for the virus to enter the body unnoticed through minor abrasions or inconspicuous lesions. The book also addresses the enduring debate regarding the existence of spontaneous rabies, thoroughly analyzing evidence and presenting a balanced perspective on this controversial topic. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
