In blue buckram cloth-covered boards with extensive gilt lettering and decorations. Top edge gilt. Maps on endpapers. 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed at spine ends. Free endpapers toned and spotted, previous owner's name inked on else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. A very nice copy of this vintage, evocative record of the Belgium city of Bruges and its history.

Condition: Good. First edition (hardback). 8vo (22cm by 15cm), xiv, 163pp. Frontispiece and text illustrations, endpaper maps. Original blue cloth, gilt titling and decoration to the front board and the spine, top edge gilt. There is some rubbing of the rear board, and noticeable foxing to the endpapers; overall, this book is in good plus condition.
