Condition: Very Good. Jerusalem: Moslem Orphanage Press, 1931. First Edition. 12mo (17.5cm); staple bound self-wrappers; 7pp. Old folds lines, brief oxidation at staples, else Very Good and sound. Unrecorded brochure advertising the motor-car tours organized by M. Wahbey to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Samaria, Damascus, Petra, Jerash, and Amman. Each location includes a short description of the sites and amenities (the Mosque of Ommiad in Damascus, hot and cold running water at the Continental Hotel in Beyrouth). "The passengers of These Tours Are Supplied with Excellent Touring and Sidan [sic] Cars." Printed by the Moslem Orphanage Press, the publishing arm of the Supreme Muslim Council, whose limited output included other small guide books, reports on the state of Palestine, and, infamously in 1929, an anti-Jewish letter to Arab students urging them to boycott all Jewish businesses. None in the trade or separately catalogued in OCLC as of January, 2026.
