Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Apparent Reprint. Date is the original D. Appleton copyright date. This edition circa 1900. Near fine in rather attractive pictorial cloth binding with siliver, white and brown lettering. Image on front cover is only slightly worn. A little wear to cloth at corners and spine ends. Prior owner ink name and name rubber stamped several times on front flyleaf. Tight copy, NOT re-cased. Attractively illustrated with drawings throughout. An early work on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Book.
