Presentation plate on front free endpaper. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding slightly loose. Boards have heavy wear with bumped and abraded corners. Spine ends similarly worn and spine itself strongly scuffed and split. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front. Some mild marks and staining to surfaces.
