Nice collectible gift. A minuscule crimp to the upper spine edge, else fine, square, very tight and crisp in polished black imitation leather over green linen-textured boards with silver embossed titles and vertical rules to the spine, smoke-black headband and tail-band; in a very nearly fine textured dust jacket with a hint of dust soils. Octavo; 155 pages; notes; credits; index; plus preliminaries.

A Good to Very Good, still quite presentable copy overall. Inscribed and signed on front free endpaper by the two subjects of this earthy profile: "Yours truly / J.W. Crawford / Capt. Jack" and "With compliments of 'the Last of the Plainsmen' CJ Jones." Below these the author has added "And the author / Zane Grey.".
