Phoenix, Arizona. Privately printed by the author. December 1967. First Edition. Octavo (6 1/2 x 5). 12 pp. Signed and with a brief inscription by Walter Bimson on the verso of the title page. Color tinted text drawings showing fly fishermen, flies, and steelhead. This is the author's account of fishing the Grande Ronde in October 1967. Mr. Bimson and his companions enjoyed fine fishing and caught and released steelhead weighing up to nine pounds. This title is by far the scarcest steelhead composition issued and was printed for the enjoyment of family members and a few fishing companions. The book is bound in color pictorial wrappers with red titles. It is rare to find signed examples of this book. A little age-toning to the spine of the book, otherwise very good.
