Vintage lobby card for the 1915 silent film. Based on the 1908 play by Walter C. Hackett and Owen Frawley Kildare, in turn based on Kildare's 1903 memoir "My Mamie Rose." A poor Irish-American orphan rises into power as a mob leader, but decides to cut his criminal ties when he falls in love with a beautiful social worker. One of the first full-length gangster films, presumed to be lost until the 1970s and now preserved at the Museum of Modern Art's Department of Film. Set in New York. 14 x 11 inches.
