This small hard cover book was published by Alfred A. Knopf of New York, as one of their Borzoi Books, dated 1967. It includes an Introduction by L. Fred Ayvazian, M.D. and an Afterwork by Ruth M. White. The drawings are by Walter Richards. According to the cover, this is: "A new edition of the classic evocation of the Adirondack woods of the life in them, of the people who have walked them or dwelt by them, and the story of how those woods have been used." Please see the photos of the Table of Contents for your further information. Condition: This book is in very good condition. There is a small chip out of the top of the spine of the dust jacket which otherwise is without blemish or wear. The hard covers are clean and bright as well, and unbumped. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages are bright, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
