Corners, crown and foot of spine bumped, fraying slightly. Closed tear, about 1 inch long, at top of front hinge. Primarily impacts cloth, revealing a glimpse of backing linen, but about 1/4 inch at top of tear impacts boards as well. Spine faded about a shade lighter than covers. Covers lightly scuffed, likely due to shelf wear. No lettering or illustration rendered illegible. Fore edges gilded. Roughly 10 inches tall by 7.5 inches wide.
