This being the second edition of this book brought up to date by co-author Walter E. Lorence. Preface by Brigadier General Chas. M. Bundel. Excellent information and history regarding this storied military fort. An excellent reading or research copy.

There is a little light rubbing at spine ends, and there are a few scratches seen along the joint of the top cover at the spine. It appears that the blank front fly leaf has been neatly excised from the book. Otherwise in fine condition.
