Hard Cover. Condition: Fine. First Edition. Huge book: 15" w x 22" h, an ode to Jack Kirby, creator of Captain America, The Fantastic Four, The X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, Ant-Man, Iron Man, The Silver Surfer and many other Marvel characters. Full page plates throughout of the original b&w pages showing tones of the India ink, white-out marks, marginalia by the artist, printers info written at the edges, proposed copy, tape marks, etc. Unpaginated, about 200 pages. As-new condition. All stories penciled by Jack Kirby, scripted by Stan Lee. Contains: Journey into mystery #111, #117, #118, Thor #134, 135, Thor Annual #2, Thor covers #132, 133, 134, 138, 140, with (10) "splashes" and (28) assorted pages from either Journey into mystery or Thor series. This is a very large object and will require special shipping to be arranged by seller at time of purchase. Lower spine end has small impact mark on front cover side. 5.
