Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Facsimile reprint of 1765 edition, the fifteenth title in English Linguistics, 1500-1800 series, edited by R. C. Alston. Scolar Press, 1967; no additional printings indicated; [6], [xxxvi], 554, [2]pp. Dark green cloth-backed forest green cloth boards, gilt titling on spine. Ex-library hardcover with minimal markings to rear paste-down and foot of spine; private collection book plate on front paste-down as well. Binding is fully intact, however front hinge is starting, webbing showing through and holding together; text very good throughout; edges of boards worn, cloth split over corners; general soiling/spotting to boards, page edges and end pages, most fairly faint.
