    Half-Leather. Condition: Near Very Good. No Jacket. Illustrated Edition. Small quarto, Black leather with plain, gilt spine, rear outer hinge leather splitting but firm, front board hinge professionally repaired with replaced front end paper of the period and opening a bit stiffly. Sprinkled edges. With 12 charming , folding colour plates of costumes of "the latest Paris Fashions " printed in France on toned paper. Plus 11 folding colour "Designs for Fancy and Decorative Work.", plus numerous" Fashions Engravings" and "Needlework and Art Work engravings in b/w. Collates thus:- Frontis, [ii], iv, [1], 4-764pp. A clean, sound and important source of late Victorian costumes, running from 1857 to 1895, with the later volumes much scarcer than the mid century ones, (which contained only 6 prints) as interest in these annual volumes diminished.
