As with previous publications by Warnatsch, the practical aspects of woodworking are adhered to. Next to classrooms it includes teacher's lounges and offices. Experience gathered in Germany's recent past and defined in administrative regulations are incorporated, particularly when it comes to dimensions of school desks and furniture. Technical drawings and the introductory text provide useful guidelines for the design of classrooms, including the treatment of wood. The drawings depict various designs for classroom desks, classroom cabinets, teachers lecterns, including glass cabinets, auditoriums, cabinets for classroom, a special cabinet for maps, respectively drawing broads, pupil's lockers, flat files, a special design for a cabinet used in chemistry classes, furniture for teacher's and conference room, tables for the execution of experiments, easels and various equipment for art classes, chalkboards and inkwells.
