After a surprisingly long career with the Louisville Colonels, Boston Americans, Chicago White Sox and finally the Washington Senators, Altrock coach…ed the Senator to one World Series title. Fairly uncommon post-War trading card, this accompanied by a matchbook cover featuring Altrock's photograph from a series of "Famous Senators.".

Shanks played the for the Senators for a decade followed by a couple years with the Red Sox, and his final season with the Yankees. He played with the Senators…from 1912-1922 suggesting that the felt is from that era. An very nice tobacco felt.

Prior to serving in the House, Lagomarsino served in the California State Senate from 1961 until 1974, and prior to that, he served as the mayor of Ojai, California. This is a very good Hardback : hard cover edition, with good (minus) dust cover jacket, in very good clean condition, a typical used book with some slight wear to edges and spine.
