Hardcover binding with minor shelfwear and slight rubbing to the extremities, and minor browning to the top of the spine. Unclipped dustjacket with chips at top and bottom of spine, numerous small tears and creases, and moderate sunning/darkening to spine and extremities; protected in archival mylar. Book is in Very Good condition in decorated striped boards. Some light pencil notations in margins. A newspaper review of the book is affixed to front free end page. Dust jacket is in Good condition, with light tanning, edgewear, and several closed tears. Library stamp on front as well. H'Doubler was an early influence in physical education. Claxton, her husband, was a professor of art at Wayne University in Detroit. 200 pp. Including a lengthy bibliography and annotated reading list.
