Terrestrial globe shows the city of Leningrad, changed from Petrograd in 1924, but noticeably lacking the state of Central Australia, which existed between 1927-1931. In bronzed cast iron meridian and stand, with sympathetic facsimile calendric…al paper horizon ring, laid on wood. With an analemma and two polar calottes. Standing in bronzed cast iron, paw-footedtripod base, with flower and ribbon decoration. C. F. Weber & Co. purchased the globe business of A. H. Andrews & Co. in 1896, renamed Weber Costello in 1909.
