Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Cream pictorial card cover stock, titled in green; 8vo; stapled binding; 31pp; illustrated with photos, drawings & facsimiles. Contains a short history of the firm; revolvers & pistols; rifles & shotguns plus air pistols & rifles. This copy in VG to NF condition and quite scarce in it's original edition as it was later reprinted. I assume this to be the American edition as it was published by Webley & Scott in the UK the same year. The OCLC locates 3 copies of the British edition ( 2 in the UK and 1 in the US) but only 1 copy of the US printing housed at the Canadian Museum of History and Canadian War Museum at Gatineau, Quebec. Thurlow Craig and Eric G. Bewley were the authors but their names do not appear in this edition. This copy in VG to NF condition.

Edn,. 1 pages, 38cm x 51cm, large single folio printed advertising sheet. 1st side shows title with large illus of the gun and notes of police force who use it beneath a column description of the pistol and its advantages in English and 5 other languages. to rear to edge illustration of stripping and assembling, with text column for directions for use and assembly repeated in 5 different languages. To the lower 1/2 illustrations of components with text description of component parts also in 5 different languages. A rare ephemeral item of which few could survive due to size and the paper.
