He was a Schwenkfelder minister as well as a binder, and much of the work was for his congregation. Collection of sermons by Weichenhan (d. 1594), who was a Silesian preacher and member of the Schwenckfelders, a small Anabaptist sect from southeastern Germany and Silesia. A large group of Schwenckfelders immigrated to Pennsylvania in the 1730s; they published many Schwenckfelder writings throughout the 18th century.
