On the basis of the treaty, the Habsburg monarchy received the Bavarian lands east of the Inn river, a region then called "Innviertel". The book contains a thorough description of this region and two official documents as supplements; edited and written by Franz Ferdinand von Schrötter (1736-1780), an Austrian jurist and historian. The book features a coloured fold-out map of Innviertel (copper engraving, 36 x 45.5 cm) and 21 fold-out plates with vedute (marked A-W; copper engravings; ca. 32 x 40 cm); all vedute were made Michael Wening (1645-1718) for his much earlier work "Historico-Topographica Descriptio." The list of depicted towns, monasteries, castles and manors is as follows: Altheim (A), Aurolzmünster (B), Schloss Aurolzmünster (B), Braunau (D), Burg Friedburg (E), Schloss Katzenberg (F), Mattighofen (G), Mauerkirchen (H), Schloss Maierhofen (I), Ort (K), Raab (L), Kloster Ranshofen (M), Reichersberg (N), Ried (O), Schloss Riegerting (P), Schloss Sankt Martin (Q), Schärding (R), Schloss Schwendt (S), Kloster Suben (T), Uttendorf (U), Schloss Wildshut (W). Fraktur typesetting; the title page features a vignette (small map of Innviertel; copper engraving); other pages are decorated with three large headpieces (two copper engravings, one woodcut) and three tailpieces (one large copper engraving, two woodcuts). A complete copy (there should almost certainly be only one map in the book, as the title page claims). /// Pasteboard binding; hardback, [16]+64+[24] pp., 21 plates, 1 map, 4° (21 x 26.5 cm), cover worn, faded, stained, chipped and cracked, corners bumped, endpapers slightly darkened, front endpaper has old call number written with pen (another call number is pasted over with piece of paper), title leaf has call number written with pen (pasted over with two pieces of paper), some pages yellowed and slightly foxed, map slightly yellowed, with small tear, plates slightly foxed or yellowed, with minor creases (folded corners etc.), rarely with tiny tear or small stain, condition: good Book Language/s: German.
