Werkman (1882-1945) Dutch experimental artist, typographer and printer who set up a clandestine printing house during the Nazi occupation (1940-45) and was executed by the Gestapo in the closing days of the war. This special book contains a letter and a note by HAP Grieshaber (1909-1985) to the previous owner. First edition, text in German and Dutch. Original half-linen binding with color illustrated cover. Very good condition. Very rare!
