Book is a Tight sound unmarked copy in Good to Very Good condition. Dustjacket has a half dollar sized chip out of the top of the spine area, otherwise in Good condition with some edgewear. Front cover is clean and attractive with painted portrait art of Will Rogers.

Book is in deep maroon hardcovers - there is a slight amount of rubbing to the front cover (see photo) Spine has gilt titles and is a little sun faded. Pages are remarkably tight and extremely clean. Very occasional hint of foxing. Book is undated but Circa 1937 by the inlaid gift card dated November 1937. There are 2 coloured plates pasted inside the front cover that might have come from a DJ? The only similar copy by Collins appears to be in Australia!

Cloth boards with art deco floral design on bottom two thirds of front board in red green and yellow. Back board is yellow and spine has similar design to front board. In opening book first page reads David Harum. Second page has beautiful illustration ( "I told ye he'd stand 'ithout hitchin.") opposite title page. There appears to be a page neatly torn out prior to first page with David Harum.

Decorarted Cloth. Condition: VG-. Dust Jacket Condition: G+. Reprint. 392 pp, book is illustrated with photos from the silent movie, the front endpaper has a gift inscription from Christmas, 1924, the spine and front cover are brightly decorated, except for light edgewear and light yellowing on endpapers, the book and contents are very clean and solid, the dust jacket is illustrated with scenes from the movie on front and rear covers, there is some wear on the edges, a scarce book in a dust jacket.

Text has slightly yellowed with age, but there is no sign of foxing and it is solid in it's binding. a price has been inked on the upper edge of the front end paper, otherwise unmarked. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
