Five early issues of this official news publication of the American Statistical Association. The journal began in 1947 and is still in print today. Contains news, letters to the editor, meeting reports, member lists, and various research articles including "Women in Statistics," and "The Pseudo Third Dimension.". Print copies from these first several years of publication are uncommon. 5 Issues, all roughly 11 x 8," various paginations, complete. Brightly colored, stapled wrappers. Address labels, with one removed. Some chipping, a few tears, some staining. Good or better.
