Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Hardcover. 4to. Published by Taylor Publishing Co. , Dallas, TX. 1978. 211 pgs. Signed by Dean Whitaker on the title page. First Edition/First Printing. Bound in cloth boards with titles present to the spine and front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. No ownership ma…rks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. A great reference book on the pre-64 Winchester Model 70 rifle. It contains a wealth of information along with photos and original manufacturer documents. And although it is primarily a research tool I found reading it very interesting. The only thing missing that I would have included if I wrote this would be a chapter on those hunters and writers who used the rifle and their experiences with it. ; 6.1 X 1.14 X 9.09 inches; 478 pages.
