Undated, but the Preface is dated 1832 and there is no sign that this is a reprint of that edition. xii+560p. Black and white illustrations in the text, and title-page vignette. Internally very good; very slight spotting to blank sided of endpapers and the immediate next leaf only. Marbled page edges and endpapers. Bound in clean light brown full calf boards, gilt decoration to borders and edges of boards, five raised bands to spine, floral decoration in compartments. Owner's label of Anne Cross on front pastedown. A very handsome copy.
