Tuttle's 1923 short story "Sir Piegan Passes," which had been adapted to the screen twice before, in Wallace Fox's "Man in the Rough" (1928), starring Bob Steele and Marjori…e King, and in Robert F. Hill's "The Cheyenne Kid" (1935), starring Tom Keene and Mary Mason. The Fargo Kid (Tim Holt) is mistaken for a notorious outlaw and hired as a killer. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with some creasing and pinholes, one with a closed tear on right side and small chip in bottom left margin.

In 1937 he worked with Gibson to produce the famous Gibson SJ-200 acoustic guitar, whic…h became an American icon and has been played by hundreds of different guitarists. Whitley made 59 movies, over 20 of them were short western musicals. Whitley also wrote the original song Back In The Saddle Again. In this printed photo, Whitley is sitting, wearing a white cowboy hat, an orange, black and white jacket, gray shirt and holding his guitar. This printed photo has his name printed on the photo.
