A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1917, this small hardcover (5.50" x 7.50") has light tan cloth over boards colorfully decorated with an image of a girl holding flowers to front/blue lettering to front & spine. Condition is VG: generally quite clean, with the occasional spot or smudge. Stamps from Sacramento County Free Library to all endpapers, else, clean & unmarked. Sewn binding is secure, but stitching is loosening on one signature. Hinges secure. Exterior shows mild darkening & light soil, cloth beginning to fray at corners & both ends of spine.
