Ganzleder-Sammeleinband a. drei Bünden d. 18. Jahrhunderts (dieser min berieben u. bestossen). Handschriftlicher Titel a. Vorsatzspiegel. Alters-, Lagerungs- u. (authentische) Gebrauchsspuren. Gesamthaft recht gutes Exemplar / UNIKAT - - Texte grossenteils in lateinischer, etliche in deutscher Sprache - Provenienz: Aus altem Verwandtschaftsbesitz Wickart, Zug - Die meist anonym geschriebenen Reden sind bis auf einzelne Ausnahmen genau datiert und nennen Ort und Form des Anlasses (z.B. 'In solemni Capitulo Tugii celebrato in templo S. Oswaldi die 27. Sept. 1745'). Inhaltlich behandeln sie theologische, liturgische und kirchliche, selten administrative u. politische Fragen. Die Autoren ca. der Hälfte des vorhandenen Materials müssten anhand von Evidenzen ermittelt werden. - Die ca. den zweiten Teil des Konvolutes bildenden Manuskripte des Zuger Pfarrers und Dekans Wickart aus den Jahren 1729-1756 sind jeweils bezeichnet, z.B. 'Haec Oratio habita fuit [.] a me Beato Carolo Wofgango Antonio Wickhart Parocho, et Decano Tugiensii' - Ebenfalls bezeichnet sind die besonders schön geschriebenen Reden von C. J. Moos 1719-1727, wie z.B. die Ansprache beim Besuch des Konstanzer Weihbischofs Conrad Ferdinand Geist [err.: Franciscus]: 'Habitus [.] a me Carolo Josepho Moos [.] 1721, 1. [.] Der Dekan übte ein allgemeines Aufsichtsrecht [.] über den Klerus aus" (etc.; HLS, Dekanat). - Die historische Beziehung der Kirchen von Zug und Bremgarten könnte mit der Tatsache zu tun haben, dass die katholischen Innerschweizer Kantone im aargauischen Freiamt gewisse Herrschaftsrechte besassen (s. dazu HLS, Freie Ämter, Kap. 2).
