Softcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. This 8.5 x 11.0, iii, 61-page book is the 1986 first publication of this title. The paper wrappers show some spotting and staining from an unknown liquid source. The front panel shows a very light effect but the rear panel shows a more pronounced staining which bled through into six pages of the rear text signature. The staining on the text pages was limited to the bottom margin and did not obscure any printed material or pictures. Beyond that the book is in excellent condition with no additional markings or damage to this interesting account of John Brown's wife and children levying the East Coast after Brown's hanging in 1859. The heavy staples are still firmly holding this item in place. 61 pages.
