A six page summary of the arguments over school busing, issued by Roy Wilkins, chairman of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights. The summary was intended for delegates to the 1972 Democratic National Convention, and encouraged delegates to support busing. The Leadership Conference on Civil Rights was formed in 1950 and is still in existence today, being a coalition of 240 organizations. GOOD condition. Two horizontal fold creases present. Lower corners rather creased and worn, with moderate offsetting along the bottom and left side. A few minor stains present. Some rusting present from the paper clip.
