    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good +. Manly, C.M. (illustrator). While it isn't expressly stated, these 314 pages seem to speak to the residents of the Ottawa to Sherbrooke corridor. They recall a time when the pace of life was much slower. Read more about : Hog Days, Manabush the original maker of maple sugar, Cowansville, Par Dieu,Turkey Hill, cross-lots, cheroots, carpet bags, and caleche. Cond : Boards are green with gilt lettering and decoration - faceand spine. End-papers are grey pictorial (think: elderly man and a wheelbarrow). Dust jacket is missing (or never issued ??). Lightly shaken but sound. Names pf two p/on front pastedown and ffep. No nmarks in text block. No tears. Spine is age-soiled but fine. Almost collectible ! !
