Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Ex-Library copy. Brown boards with gilt lettering on spine. Numerous library markings: tape used to hold jacket to boards, stamps on all edges of text block, card sleeve and bar code on FFEP, "withdrawn" stamp on FFEP, and number label on jacket's spine. Some rubbing and bumping to edges, especially at corners. Pictorial dust jacket with title in blue lettering on cover and in tan lettering on spine. Jacket has been laminated and has minor shelf wear to edges. Binding is tight. Interior has light toning. Includes two sections of color plates as well as black and white illustrations throughout. Laid in is a sheet with a list of the color plates. This book is a comprehensive survey of African rock art, from the Atlas Mountains to the Cape of Good Hope.
