Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. A Manual of Temperance Comprising A Lecture, Testimonies in Favor of Total Abstinence, Its Adaption to All Climates, and Suggestions on The Means of Promoting the Enterprise, with Some Observations on the Use of Tobacco. The Rev. William Moister, W. Tweedie, Hamilton, Adams and Co., London, 1868, 96 pp. green publisher's cloth, 5 x 7.5", 12mo. In good condition. Boards show little wear. Light rounding of corners. Interior is clean and unmarked. Moderate toning and foxing, as to be expected. Binding tight and intact. A nice copy! Please see photos. Very scarce title on dangers of alcohol, sex and tobacco.
