Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Some wear to covers and spine, mainly edges and corners, corners a little bumped and worn, top and bottom of spine bumped and worn, internally in good condition, pages crisp and clear but slightly yellowing, some light foxing, front end paper neatly cut out.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Rare vintage 1926 copy "Fifty-Two Years a Policeman." The book is overall in good- condition with signs of wear and age. The covers have some moderate wear with sunning to the spine. There is cracking to the interior hinges & text block, but the binding is still sound. The interior is toned from age with some occasional foxing, soiling & grubbiness. The front endpapers have same name inscriptions & stamps. There is some evidence of bookplate removal to the front pastedown. A few pages have a marginal chip or tear which does not affect the text. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, minor stain or marking, etc. The book measures approximately 8 7/8 inches by 5 3/4 inches and is 335 pages long with a few black and white plates.
